1. Clinic Governance & Insurance
These terms govern clinical services provided by James Pegg Lic.ac MBAcC. James operates as a self-employed practitioner and holds full insurance under the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) Members Group Policy.
2. Cancellation & Rescheduling
To maintain clinical scheduling integrity:
- Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged up to the full session fee where the appointment cannot reasonably be filled.
- Appointments cancelled with more than 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled without penalty.
- Exceptions for genuine sudden medical emergencies are managed at the practitioner's discretion.
3. Clinical Suitability & Outcomes
Submission of the evidence intake form does not guarantee clinical acceptance. No specific clinical outcome can be guaranteed from treatment.
If your presentation requires urgent assessment or treatment by another appropriate healthcare professional, the clinic reserves the right to decline ongoing treatment and refer you accordingly.
4. Medical Emergencies
Acupuncture is not a substitute for emergency medical care. In a life-threatening emergency, call 999. For urgent medical help that is not life-threatening, use NHS 111 or contact your GP.
5. Complaints & Governing Law
Clinical or service complaints should be raised directly with James Pegg. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
